MINI Cooper Graphite is a new special edition model that has been launched on the UK market by MINI.

MINI Cooper Graphite is equipped with 15-inch Rotator Spoke alloy wheels, and it comes with a Dark Silver metallic paint, a piano black interior, white indicator lenses, and also black bonnet stripes.

MINI Cooper Graphite is available in One, Cooper and Cooper D guise. For the One version, it offers a choice between black or white bonnet stripes and will be equipped with 16-inch Bridge Spoke alloy wheels.

MINI Cooper Graphite for the British market will be priced at 14,590 pounds for the petrol version. While for the D model, the price will goes up at 15,660 pounds.

Should a customer wish to specify these options on a standard MINI Hatch, the total cost of the extra kit (were Dark Silver metallic paint normally available on MINI One, Cooper and Cooper D models) would be £225-£280 over that of a standard MINI Graphite edition.

Orders for the MINI Graphite models are being taken now by UK dealers. The MINI One Graphite is available from £210 per month with a 36 month MINI Select finance agreement and £2,000 deposit.

Special edition models have been hugely successful since the launch of the new MINI in July 2001. In recent years, editions carrying the monikers Checkmate, Park Lane and MINI One Se7en have set MINI owners apart from the pack and are highly sought after in the used car market. These editions have been instrumental in maintaining high MINI residual values and industry expert Glass’s has confirmed that the MINI One Graphite will command a three per cent higher residual value than the standard MINI One.

Daihatsu Terios Kiri has been announced by Daihatsu as a new special edition of their 4×4. The Daihatsu Terios Kiri is based on the 1.5 S model, and the production will be limited to 250 units only.

Daihatsu Terios Kiri has a 185 g/km CO2 emissions level, and powered by the 1.5 liter petrol engine with 40.4 mpg fuel economy on an Extra Urban Cycle.

Daihatsu is offering customers extra value from its limited-edition Terios ‘Kiri’ which is being restricted to only 250 cars.

Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) announced pricing for the new 2010 Nissan Armada full-size SUV, which goes on sale in mid-May at Nissan retailers nationwide. The enhancements to the Armada for the new model year include a revised model lineup, which now features three well-equipped models: the Armada SE and two special editions, the Armada Titanium Edition and Armada Platinum Edition.

Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Prices* (MSRP) start at $37,210 for the 2010 Armada 4×2 SE and $42,810 for the Armada 4×4 SE.

The new Armada Titanium Edition includes a full array of standard comfort and convenience features, including Nissan Intelligent Key™, leather-appointed seating, RearView Monitor, Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System, premium Bose® audio system with 11 speakers, power-folding 60/40-split 3rd row seat and auto-leveling rear air suspension. Nissan also announced the addition of a new “360° Value Package” to the 2009 Murano lineup. Available now for a limited time on the Murano SL FWD or AWD with Premium and Leather packages, the 360° Value Package adds Nissan Intelligent Key™, Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System, iPod® adaptor, metallic-finish 18-inch alloy wheels, silver-finish roof rails and Murano’s signature dual-panel moonroof. Skoda has released the first images of 2009 Skoda Octavia vRS facelift along with its details. Powered by 2.0 T FSI engine coupled with a six-speed manual twin-clutch DSG transmission, the 2009 Skoda Octavia vRS facelift may outputs 200bhp and offers a 37.7mpg fuel economy. Following the launch of the new Octavia late last year, the vRS and Scout have been updated to bring them into line with the current range and family face of Skoda.

The sporty Octavia vRS has proved extremely popular since it was launched in 2000. More than 60,000 have been sold, 70 per cent of which were the estate version.

The facelifted vRS has a redesigned front grille featuring the vRS logo and bold headlamps, which for the first time can be fitted with xenon headlights combined with the adaptive front lighting system. The car has two more completely new features: front fog lamps with optional cornering function and LED lamps for daytime lighting. The rear lights have been redesigned to look more attractive and new 18” Neptune alloy wheels are available.

Other changes to the vRS include a new metallic paint, Anthracite, and a lowered (now 127mm) sports-tuned chassis.

The car is also lighter – the petrol version by 20kg and the diesel by 15kg. With reduced air resistance the maximum speed of the vRS is now higher and the car’s responsiveness and acceleration have also been improved.

The vRS is available with a choice of two engines, which both comply with the EU5 standard. The 2.0 T FSI 200bhp offers fuel consumption of 37.7mpg (combined cycle) and CO2 emissions of 175g/km. The 2.0 TDI CR 170bhp offers 49.6mpg (combined cycle) and emits 150g/km of CO2. Both engines are available with a six-speed manual twin-clutch DSG transmission.
